Terms and Conditions
We are Professional Lifestyle organisational specialists. Organising By Us. This is a 1-1 project-based service. This document highlights our rules and responsibilities.
- Privacy and confidentiality:
Organising By Us are registered and committed to the ICO (Information Commissioners Office) legislations. We are dedicated to keeping within the laws of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) Act of 2018.
Clients information is treated with complete confidentiality. All personal data collected is stored safely and under restricted access with password entry. No information is shared with any third parties without Client consent. For more information, please see our privacy policy.
- Photography:
Organising By Us would like to take “before and after” photos (with Client consent) of the different tasks completed within certain projects. Clients can opt out at any time by sending us an email with your request. We will be using photos/video images for our social media, website and advertisements (if needed). Photographs will be taken anonymously, they will be “non identifiable” of persons/location.
- Complaints:
Kindly Email [email protected] complaints will be dealt with promptly.
- Cancelation, termination & rescheduling:
Both parties (Organising By Us and Clients) have the right to cancel or reschedule projects with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
For cancellations, terminations or re-scheduling made during the course of the project, the outstanding fees quoted will be charged in full.
Organising By Us reserves the right to accept or decline any work/projects.
- Third party staff/companies:
We do not provide cleaning or removal services. We help to source third party contractors (with Client consent) and it is responsibility of Client to pay contractors.
- Quoted packages:
We will complete the work to the agreed-upon timeline and scope of project/s quoted. For any unforeseeable reason that anything already quoted or agreed changes, Clients will be notified asap. Should additional time be required for the project, the additional charge of £60 will be added per hour.
Project tasks/scope agreed to (either in writing or verbally)- by either party prior to, or during the project, are binding.
- Access to premises:
Because of the nature of our work, Organising By Us requires an adequate parking space as near to the project location as possible. At Clients expense and only if use of car is needed (decided by Organising By Us). Any access codes or instructions for the project premises will need to be provided prior to start of project.
- Liability:
We take every precaution to ensure the safety and security of our clients, their belongings and confidential data. We do not accept responsibility for any damage, loss or injuries that may occur as a result of our services.
- Disclaimer:
We do not take responsibility for Clients personal belongings or their decisions pertaining to their belongings i.e. throwing away items, or re-locating them. We offer an “advise and encourage” service. Moving of any bulky/heavy objects is the responsibility of the client or third party (movers or handyman).
Organising By Us is entitled to a 30min paid lunch break within sessions lasting more than 5 consecutive hours.
Amendments to this document can be made at any time and available on our website.
“Organising By Us” has both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.
- Health and safety:
Organising By Us recognises the risk of entering Clients environments. We like to ensure our Clients feel as comfortable with us in their “space” as possible. (Please see ‘’Cancelation, termination & rescheduling’’ section for clarification)
Members of staff (employed by Organising By Us):
Any staff employed by Organising By Us go through a background check. We are responsible for ensuring staff adhere to our rules and processes.
- General:
Communication is key. We are committed to updating Clients with ideas and progress during the project/s. Clients are encouraged to communicate their preferences and requirements to ensure our services meet their expectations/goals.
We encourage feedback and testimonials on our website, these are always appreciated.
- Payments:
Free initial 30 minute consultation.
You will be quoted set price and hours/days, depending on the size of the project/s. (Please see our website)
A non-refundable deposit of £50 received for confirmation of a booking (deductible from invoice total).
Payments on final invoice, are due NO LATER than 2days after invoice date. Late payments will accrue a penalty charge of £10 per day (on top of invoiced amount).
Travel for errands outside of “project location” is charged at a rate of 45p per mile. (If use of car is needed, decided by “Organising By Us”)
Travelling to Clients project location (more than 30miles outside of our current postcode at the time) is charged at a rate of 45p per mile. (Starting at 30miles), (If use of car is needed, decided by “Organising By Us”).
Purchased Items- Organising By Us will purchase and source any items or services on the Clients behalf (agreed by both parties) – for Clients own expense + 20% service fee.
Any agreed on extra costs – e.g. mileage, purchased items or additional time added to the project will be included in the final invoice. Organising By Us is not responsible for the charges or extra charges of (sourced) third-party staff/companies.
Payment information Is found on our invoice.
